Before tiling

Here's our new BTO flat without HDB tiles. We will be using 600x600 homogeneous tiles for living room and the 3 bedrooms.

Why do we need sand? The sand and cement will be mixed and used to do screeding, ie. level the concrete surface before tiling. :)
