Tiling

Once screeding is done, tiling can begin. The work requires high level of precision and lots of patience. Our tiling took 5 working days.

How to check if tiling is done perfectly?
1. Knock on the tiles to check for hollow sound. A hollow sound means the tile is not set properly. Do ask your contractor to remove the problematic areas and redo.

2. Check the joints and see if the spacing between tiles is consistent.

3. When the contractor handsover the house to you, check for any cracks on the surface just in case of damages done in the later course of renovation,  especially when you bring in the heavy stuff.
